Privacy Policy
Effective October 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Moura Law, LLC collects, uses, and shares personal information through mouralaw.com, our contact forms, and our SMS communications.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide, including your first and last name, email address, and phone number.
- Your preferred language, the contents of your messages, and any information you voluntarily provide about an inquiry or legal matter.
- Your SMS consent choice and related submission records, such as the disclosure presented, its version, the source form, and submission date and time.
- Technical information processed by website and communications providers, which may include IP address, browser or device information, and service logs.
Please do not submit confidential case information, medical records, financial account details, or other sensitive documents through the initial contact form or SMS. Contact the firm to arrange an appropriate way to provide them.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; communicate about appointments, document requests, reminders, and case updates; evaluate requests for legal assistance; provide services when an attorney-client relationship is established; maintain communication and consent records; protect our services; and meet applicable obligations. We send SMS only when the recipient has consented or as otherwise permitted for a response to an inbound message.
How information is shared
We may use service providers that process information on our behalf to host the website, deliver contact-form submissions and emails, and provide telephone and text messaging services. Our contact form uses FormSubmit to send submitted information to the firm. Information you provide is subject to that provider’s processing practices as well as this policy. You may instead contact us directly by telephone or email.
For a legal matter, information may be disclosed to authorized staff, professionals, insurers, opposing parties, courts, or other recipients when needed for the representation and consistent with applicable duties, your authorization, or legal requirements. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information.
SMS choices
Providing a phone number or submitting a contact form does not by itself authorize ongoing text messages. Our SMS consent checkbox is optional and unchecked by default. You can submit an inquiry and request legal services without agreeing to texts. If you opt in, you may receive appointment messages, case updates, document requests and reminders, and responses to inquiries from Moura Law, LLC.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. You can also call (203) 617-0707 or email info@mouralaw.com. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.
Website preferences and external services
The website may store your language preference in your browser. Links to Instagram, maps, and other external websites are governed by those services’ own policies. Website and form providers may use technical storage or security features to operate their services.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain necessary business and consent records, and meet legal or professional obligations. Retention depends on the information and purpose. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
